Welcome to the UKCPA online community
You can join as many groups and forums as you like. Even if you work alone, with UKCPA you are always connected to a large, welcoming community of clinical pharmacy practitioners. Our members are practising in all areas of the UK and abroad, in all sectors and environments, within specialities and as generalists, and at all stages of a pharmacy career. What they have in common is that they are all passionate about supporting and developing the pharmacy profession and improving patient care, and they are able to do this through the UKCPA community.

Advice from NHS England & Department of Health and Social Care
Whilst communicating information about supply issues, please consider information which could cause hospitals to panic buy medicines, which can precipitate a new supply issue or worsen the supply situation of a current shortage. There are central teams both in NHSE and DHSC who are managing supply issues at a national level. Your local pharmacy procurement lead will have a link into these teams and is involved in this national work. If you hear about an issue, please discuss with your regional procurement specialist in the first instance, who can provide advice or escalate as required.
